Description

Keep the information you need for a thriving garden at-hand with the “Reflective Gardener’s Logbook!” This is a wonderful tool for learning as you go while you fill out the plant identification pages, your soil pH and amendment log, and fertilization records.

“The Reflective Gardener’s Logbook” is a simple way to store your garden information, notes, logs, expenses, plant identification, sketches & drawings, seed packets, and more!

This logbook is not a how-to, yet I’ve input a few instructions and examples throughout to help guide you along with filling it out.

It’s very important to maintain a record for your garden year-to-year so that you can always improve as a gardener! “The Reflective Gardener’s Logbook” differs from my other journal “The Reflective Gardener: A Garden Journal and Planner for 2021” in that it does not include year-specific sections or a yearly planner. This logbook will not regard any certain year – instead, it is good for any season, any year!

What’s between the covers?

To-Do Lists to help you organize & prioritize your gardening needs.

Garden Supply, Seed, and Plant Expense Log to help you maintain and running a log of how much you’ve spent on your garden so far in order to budget for next year.

6 Garden Plot Designer Pages with associated notes pages so you can design every area of your garden and make as many notes as you need!

Seed Saving and Storage Log so you can maintain a log of what plants you harvested seeds from, where you stored them, in what containers they’re stored, and more!

A Plant & Bloom/Harvest Log to help you keep up with when you planted your plants and when you harvested them, or when they bloomed.

* A Weather Log for every day of the year. Don’t worry! You don’t have to keep up with every day’s forecast – but it’s nice to look back on historical trends you’ve personally kept track of to utilize alongside the Farmer’s Almanac when preparing for future gardens or when understanding why certain seasons may be shorter than others.

Fertilizer Application Log for keeping track of what types of fertilizers you’ve added to each plant.

Soil pH & Amendment Log for understanding how healthy your soil is upon the first read, recording what you added to amend it, and a place for a second pH reading.

Pest/Disease Log for making note of what pests and diseases you had to combat and how you combated them.

85 Plant Identification and Seed Tracking Pages (170 total) for keeping up with every plant in your garden! You don’t have to have a big garden to fill this entire logbook up. You’ll find that when you add your herbs, veggies, fruits, and flowers all together, it fills up very quickly!

Notes Pages to Track Dates and Extra Records

Daily Watering Tracker so you never have to try to remember when or how often you’re watering your plants

12 Additional Blank Pages for any use – extra seed packets, information, drawings, sketches…anything you can think of!

This logbook is your canvas!

Happy Gardening!
