If you’re like me, you’re pretty tired of the same old, same old. That’s not just regarding food, either – this deals with almost everything – but it especially deals with food. I guess I’m going through a season in life where I’m just tired of what feels like Groundhog’s Day. Actually, I’m going through a season where I’m just tired.
I want to jazz things up lately!
That’s why I’m putting this list together for you. I want to jazz things up for you, for me, and most certainly for our fast food experience. Of course, I want this list to be as accurate as possible, so I gathered all of my information very carefully and double checked the latest trends (because I certainly am not aware of them).
According to QSR, the following chain restaurants are the top-ranking in the States:
McDonald’s
Starbucks
Subway
Taco Bell
Chick-fil-A
Wendy’s

Sonic Drive-In

With that, I set off to find each restaurant’s off-menu items. While each restaurant may have had multiple off-menu items, I chose the following items for their creativity and uniqueness from the regular menu. So, without further rambling, here they are!
1.) McDonald’s McKinley MAC
Sold on-menu in Alaska and named after Alaska’s tallest mountain, the McKinley Mac is sold off-menu elsewhere.
This is basically a Big Mac, except it uses two quarter pound beef patties. I hope you’re hungry!
2.) Starbuck’s Caramel Cookie Bar Frappuccino
This drink had me at “if you’re a chocolate bar lover…”
Order a Caramel Frappuccino with hazelnut syrup, java chips, whipped cream, caramel sauce drizzle on the inside of the cup and then topped with mocha drizzle.
3.) Subway’s Deconstructed Breakfast Taco
Looking to sway away from your morning biscuit or croissant routine? Try Subway’s Deconstructed Breakfast Taco.
This unconventional Subway item comes on flatbread with steak, eggs, guacamole, tomato, red onion and chipotle sauce.
4.) Taco Bell’s Incredible Hulk
Why is it called The Incredible Hulk? Think green…
This hefty twist is on the 5-layer burrito, except without the nacho cheese. Ask for guacamole instead.
5.) Chick-Fil-A’s Fried Chicken Club
Of course the regular Grilled Chicken Club is already delicious as is! But, sometimes you just feel like you want a little bit more crunch.
Just order the Grilled Chicken Club sandwich, except with fried chicken!
6.) Wendy’s Quad Baconater
Yes, that’s right – FOUR patties!
Ask for the Baconator, except with four patties.
7.) Burger King’s Suicide Burger
I guess while we’re on the subject of four patties, we might as well mention Burger Kong’s Suicide Burger.
This might look hard to handle, but it’s made with four patties with cheese, bacon, and whopper sauce stacked between two buns.
8.) Dunkin’s Coco Berry
For a fruity-fresh spin on a mocha iced latte, ask for a shot of blueberry berry syrup to go with it! This is said to taste like the perfect blueberry and chocolate combination – one I can’t wait to try!
9.) Domino’s Super Lot Pizza
I know it may seem silly to have a pizza place have off-menu items because everything can already be personalized how you want it. But, think broader.
So, does pepperoni belong on pizza? While I say YES, you determine that for yourself! The Super Lot Pizza comes with pepperoni, ham, ground beef, pineapple, red onion, black olives,, mushrooms and oregano.
10.) Panera Bread’s Steak Lettuce Wrap
While I scoured the internet to put this list together, I discovered that this item in particular was available, unavailable, available, etc.
However, ask for sirloin steak, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, lemon juice and basil pesto with hand-leafed lettuce, and you’re in!
